Originally whoever this idea belonged to, it travelled quite a bit before making its way here ..
Some spectator at the Sydney Cricket Ground held up a banner saying whatever follows, when the Little Master, Sachin Tendulkar was batting for his well deserved century after a spate of unlucky misses. Thank God for that! Lets hope for many more delightful innings from him.
Coming back to the message which travelled, a cameraman there was watchful enough to spot it and focus his camera onto it. So the message on the banner was broadcast to the world by means of satellite (live I might add), and some people happened to see it. Among those, few were in India (or maybe many), due to the early morning hours during which the match is aired. One of those was a guy who lives in my hostel. But he did not tell this to me. The message had a much longer journey ahead of it!
What this fellow did was to post that as a status message on Gmail Chat. So, the next step comprised a journey through an underwater cable (probably) to a server somewhere in the world and then back through a similar route to where I was, in a room a few metres away from the guy who saw it in the first place. Or maybe he didn't see it either, he just read it somewhere.
So, in the information age, as we call it, the message travelled from Sydney, Australia, to outer space and then back onto the Earth to some studio in India. From there, to a TV set in Powai, Mumbai, then underwater across continents (maybe) for a round trip back to Powai.
Nice. Just like the message is.

P.S. - If its boring, I apologize. It reflects my state of mind.
